The Monroe Police Department Explorer Post #262 conducts annual Cop-On-Top fundraisers. During these Cop-On-Top fundraisers, select Monroe Police Officers place themselves on top of a restaurant to gain awareness for the Monroe Police Explorer Post #262. Each year different goals are set concerning the amount of money collected from the past year. All proceeds are used towards the purchase of new Explorer uniforms, participation in local and state level competitions, community events, and participation in the annual Explorer Academy.
